FKCHS faces challenge over alleged homosexual content in play after winning at drama festival

CARIBOU/Fort Kent– There was drama at the Northern Regional Drama Festival this weekend when a director from Washburn lodged a written complaint alleging possible mature content, specifically for its supposed implications of homosexuality, of Fort Kent Community High School’s play in the annual one-act competition. The complaint led to some suspenseful moments as the group of students waited to see if it would result in their disqualification.
