When people are caught up in a religious fervor like that they don't listen to reason or logic.

Their only answer will be; "something magically happens" or "just one more SCOTUS judge". They actually still believe that everyone thinks exactly the way they do.

We've been hearing this same old, sad song for decades now and the result is always the same.

The gun control side sits on the couch waiting for someone to do the heavy lifting and pay the bills for them and the only thing that happens is they rush to their keyboard every time some back bencher proposes a new control bill followed by a request for donations, which they ignore.

Then another state loosens its gun laws, violent crime continues to fall, they rush to the keyboards again to bemoan the primitives that allowed this.

That's pretty much the extent of their "activism"
