In reply to the discussion: Why do ammosexuals call people "thieves"? What's in it for them? [View all]CompanyFirstSergeant

I do not condone long gun open carry.
I can take a photo of people in a bar....
....and use the line 'one of them murdered two people' also.
By drinking and driving.
This is not a very nice world.
Many, many bad things happen in it.
People who intend to murder, will most likely find a way to at least try to murder.
The presence of a weapon does not equal the intent to use it. As far as perceiving a threat is concerned, there are two types of lead-ins to an event. One in which the aggressor 'telegraphed' the intent, and one in which they did not, or no one noticed the signals leading to the event.
One could argue that having one's hands on a firearm is a sign of 'telegraphing' intent. That is why so many open carriers do not condone long gun open carry. Your hands are all over the rifle. Getting out of the car, opening the door to the restaurant, adjusting it while seating.
With a holstered handgun, one can go decades without ever touching the holstered handgun while carrying it. The only time I put my hand on the grips is when there is a possibility of slipping and falling on a hiking trail.
I an not from a culture in which people LGOC except for hunting season, when it is all around.
I would not feel comfortable seeing the individuals in the photo above, as they are depicted, with rifles.
Handguns are a totally different conversation.

What if the person is simply running away from an armed ammosexal in a resturant?

Running w/o paying, from an eatery where no danger is present, is a form of thieving N/T

She murdered two people. How many times do I have to say it before you understand?

Doesn't look like her handling was so bad-she clearly shot in the air. That said,

I agree, she is the wrong type for carry, and this will probably prevent her from doing so again.

Ammophobes also like to label people as ammosexuals, as they're running for the door.

Well, OP's do tend to get censored here in the gungeon, so why bother writing poetry?

Good news, the "thief"* in this case went to jail, and the alleged "ammosexual" was indicted

Here ay DU, the ammosexuals consider anybody who runs from guns in a resturant a "thief".

She murdered two people. Why should we allow ourselves to be murdered for you? (nt)

Why do we have to assume that she loves us more than she loves her own family?

Why do thieves pretend stealing food is about safety? What in it for them (besides free food)?
