It really frightens me that Democrats are so completely oblivious to their role in the polarization that is afflicting our nation, and the damage that results. Sure, the far right needs almost no help in becoming ever more radicalized -- but the truth of the matter is that we've managed to toss petrol on the fire with our dishonesty and stupidity regarding gun violence.

I'm reminded of Jon Stewart's great line when he delivered his now-famous beat-down of the Crossfire buffoons: Stop, stop, stop, stop hurting America. The same line could honestly be delivered to The Controllers.......though needless to say, the words would fall on deaf ears.
