In reply to the discussion: Please discuss why Amy Goodman/Democracy Now continues to [View all]werdna
(935 posts)7. What do you mean support?
Are you concerned that they report on her and her campaign or have her on the program when MSM refuses to do so. That's kind of what DN is and has always been all about. Or have you documentation of them donating their donors money to her campaign. Then there is this:
With the following description:
"Aug 22, 2024
At a campaign rally on August 19, 2024 in Chicago during the DNC with former Seattle Socialist council member Kshama Sawant, Green presidential candidate Jill Stein called out the program Democracy Now for censoring her campaign for president during the entire Democratic Party convention. "Democracy Now" and its host Amy Goodman refused to cover the other minor parties along with the Greens. Here program refused to present any segment or interview with the largest left alternative on the ballot in the United States which was the role of corporate media during the Democratic Party National Convention."
I do not advocate voting for Jill Stein or any third party candidate in this election nor do I endorse or support their campaigns, Just wondering where you're coming from with this. Please clarify your position.

I absolutely agree. Are you then suggesting Goodman is one of those push to the right voices? Simply

No, I believe Goodman is standing firm to keep Dems from drifting to the right.
Think. Again.

I'm glad we cleared up the vague implication that he supports Williamson now.

Support as in giving her lots of interview airtime. Goodman is not putting Kennedy or Vance on the air, for example.
