since both parents work full-time, they feel that in order for their children to have a happy childhood, there has to be some planning so they don't sit around after school just staring at their electronic toys.

They do a lot of sports. Also piano lessons, gymnastics and like that.

They do look happy! And they are fit besides.

I'd say they have the right mix, though it's hard to tell from 50 miles away and not getting to see them very much.
