MIT edits 'women of color' program website after complaint for excluding white students [View all]
AfAm Group:
Here we go again. I've said it before at DU - I will say it again:
They are coming for the terminology Historically Black College - even though ANYONE can apply and attend those schools.
They are coming for the UNCF - because it is started by and for black students. Oh - and it has the word Negro.
They coming for the NAACP.
I'll feel a lot better when they start attacking Irish American, Italian American, Indigenous American programs, traditions, scholarships, etc. etc.

While our program is designed to support and celebrate undergraduate women of Color, participation is open to all students regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, and national origin, the website now reads.
The CRWN website continues to state, The CRWN is designed to inspire undergraduate women of Color which includes Black, Indigenous, Hispanic/Latinx, Asian, Pacific Islanders, and other minoritized ethnicities.
The Equal Protection Project nonprofit on Wednesday responded to the MIT program updating its website.
MIT appears to be backing down on its racially and sexually exclusionary CRWN program by adding a new non-discrimination statement on the CRWN home page, said William Jacobson, founder of the Equal Protection Project.
Why don't they sue these:

https://www.niaf.org/programs/find-a-scholarship/
https://gahmusa.org/gahf-to-award-two-scholarships-apply-now/
They won't sue those - because they are for whites only. And in the post anti-inclusion America - if it lifts up black folks in any way shape or form - they will attack it.
I wouldn't be surprised if they go after the Divine Nine - but allow the traditionally white frats and sororities continue as they are.
