Smart Car [View all]

We're planning ahead for when my daughter is going to be commuting to college and were looking for a car that didn't cost too much and would be economical for her to drive. My wife stumbled on this 2010 Smart the other day and we managed to get a great deal on it. I was initially kind of leery of it (I drive a Mustang GT), but that little Smart is really quite comfortable for 2 people and drives pretty well also. It's no speed demon, but it's quick enough that it doesn't get on my nerves (you can put the transmission into manual-shift mode which gives a lot more control). We're driving the Smart for all of our errands etc. now, so at around 40 miles per gallon we're putting a bit less carbon in the air and saving ourselves a good amount of money for gas as well. Smart has an electric out now, I'm going to give that one a serious look for my next car.
