I was always taught to spell it Crepe Myrtle. So I looked it up online to see if I had been misspelling it. Either way is acceptable, (Whew,) but it is also a regional difference in spelling. The South tends to spells it Crepe Myrtle, and every other area tends to spell it Crape Myrtle. There are even people who spell it as all one word Crapemyrtle! Thanks for the lovely plant pictures!
