6. I'm not saying that it wouldn't be easy to rationalize "political violence" against Trump

but the consequences of that would be toxic to our Democracy. Even if he was eliminated from the political scene, the MAGA ideology would continue. It has always been around in some shape or fashion. In fact, political violence is actually as American as apple pie. But at this point in history I personally think it could spell the end of our Democracy.

As the demographics of the US change, the problem will take care of itself given some time. The changes are inevitable. But assassination of a political leader presents a danger to the very principles of Democracy.

We have very serious problems domestically and internationally and need thoughtful people in charge or we risk the demise our a nation , though quite imperfect, has been the beacon of hope for the entire world for over a century. I just don't think the risk/reward is wise.
