My dad died a month or so ago at 91 from liver cancer and mom about 9 years ago. Im much older than you at 60 so its easier for me but still hard. You did the right thing with hospice. They assured your mom was not in excruciating pain at the end. They did the same for my dad.

I feel so bad for you. I lost my mom over 30 years ago, I was 39 I still cry sometimes

After several calls from Hospice, I finally called them 6 months after the death of my Mom.
