I am 48 and back when they diagnosed me girls weren't supposed to have it and somehow we were supposed to not have it as bad and we were expected to handle it better. Yeah, think about that. There is still the belief that you "grow' out of it.....yeah, right. I still have to deal with mine but as I have grown older it shifted to being more mentally hyper and I oddly do not have energy to get up and do a lot of physical activity because I am to busy thinking. I do not know if that makes sense but maybe to you it does.
