First state to legalize medical weed. Would have been the first to legalize recreational too except it was the pot growers who killed that in 2012 because they didn't want to be taxed.

I'm really happy that it's legal here and our bud is extremely high quality. But the ironic thing was I actually liked it better when it was just medical. Medical cards were SUPER EASY to get, and we didn't have the insanely high taxes on pot that we do now since it became legal recreationally. And the edibles were much better too. Legal recreational use meant putting everything under much tighter regulations, and you can't get some of the really kick ass edible shit that you used to be able to get when it was just medical.

Still though, we have great selection, great quality, and tons of it available. And CA is one damn beautiful state. Redwood forests, amazing coastline, lakes, rivers, hills, and deserts. Great place to get high.
