you can probably help loads of us here
with tips and tricks

don't know if that makes you feel better, looked up the profile
the experience you have will benefit us all and hopefully some of ours will help you

as an electrician, (i'm into retro computers) if your soldering and evacuation fans are ok
can you re - cap (put new capacitors on a 2-3 level board)....lot of people asking for that lately in retro forums
amiga/atari and similar are getting leaky caps

tossing out an idea
