The majority of Bernie voters that will end up supporting Biden (and also supported Hillary) are those who are pragmatic like the rest of usmany of whom here have already lost one or two candidates before Biden became our choice. They care about children in cages and they care that the continued shift of the judicial branch will hurt many, many people.
The busters don't care about children in cages. I'm sorry to say it but they just don't. If they did, they'd realize just how dangerous Trump is in keeping those children there. Half of the Busters are one or two issue voters (M4A and socialism) and no other issue matters and if it does matter, it's only as a subset of socialism. For example, the belief that capitalism is the cause of racism, sexism, and homophobia, which isn't just patently false, it's ridiculously false. But, I think the other half of them are just looking for something to believe in and rally behind and I use the word rally intentionally here since they'll show up at a rally but they won't show up to vote. Those are the Bernie cultists. They're never going to support our nominee and I don't think that Biden should start going socialist-left if he wants to beat Trump. I think he has a far better chance off getting centrist Republicans and never-Trumpers than he'll ever have winning over the extreme left.
So yeah, go for Bernie's voters, but not the extremists. There's no point.
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
