Sanders was back in Vermont late Wednesday afternoon/early evening, even while Senators were speaking on the floor.
Dianne Feinstein was in Washington late in the week - she's 86.
Dick Durban is in Washington (he spoke this afternoon on the floor of the Senate) - he's 75.
Chuck Grassley was in Washington late in the week - he's 86.
If one's age is an impediment to doing one's job, one should resign. He had no excuses for not being there.
And before you bash me for being "ageist", I was laid off years ago because of my age, filed a complaint with the state, won and was was restored to my job with full back pay of 18 months! I'm only a few years younger than him.
