Democratic Primaries
In reply to the discussion: Senator Sanders, telling us what we "need to do" from Vermont, not from Washington! [View all]The Magistrate
(96,043 posts)Sanders acts in a way that is certain to benefit Trump and Republicans.
Sanders is of mature years, and so in courtesy ought to be presumed to know the likely consequences of his actions.
Since Sanders knows his actions will benefit Trump and Republicans, the fact that Sanders persists in these actions forces any reasonable observer to conclude that Sanders intends to assist Trump and Republicans, whatever he may say at times on the subject.
In support of this conclusion may be offered evidence of predisposition, for Sanders has made it abundantly clear he takes the 'Democratic Establishment' as every bit the corrupt 'enemy of the people' that the Republican Party is. Sanders has characterized his campaign for President as an effort aimed at destruction of the 'Democratic Establishment'. Sanders seems to believe this is a necessary preliminary to defeating Trump and Republicans. That is self-serving delusion, which could only be held by a man who is afflicted both with malignant Narcissism and an advanced Messiah complex. It is also a long-standing delusion of the radical left circles in which Sanders moved for several decades after his college days, that center-left parties must be broken in order to clear the field for radical leadership of the 'working class' in the cause of revolution.

When plans do not succeed, people become uneasy. When people are uneasy, punishments do not fit crimes. When punishments do not fit crimes, people cannot know where to put hand or foot."
primary today, I would vote for: Joe Biden
