Sounds almost quaint in the Trump era but people trust Joe Biden. They trust he knows what to do and how to do it. They trust his expertise and knowledge after many years as a public servant and having served as Obama's wingman. More importantly, they trust Biden's heart, his basic decency.

After 3+ years of having a faux-president, the current Squatter-in-Chief, the Conman/Thug extraordinaire, people hunger for actual leadership, a captain to take the wheel and navigate the Ship of State away from the treacherous shoals of deceit, disinformation and malignant, willful ignorance.

And yes, Joe Biden is a known quantity. He doesn't need to introduce himself to the American public because he's been a mainstay in politics for decades. Uncle Joe, Riding' with Biden, the No Malarkey Express. Corny but comfortable. I've always thought of a Biden presidency as a transitional step, the one we needed to put the train back on the track so we could get onto the urgent needs of the country, the world. But who knows? He might surprise us. In a good way.

If I were to vote in a presidential
primary today, I would vote for:
Joe Biden
