The Way Forward

It is a mistake to underestimate Trump. People laughed when he announced in 2015. I remember George Stephenopoulos laughing and saying "he will never be President". Well, everyone that thought that was wrong. He has now been elected to the Presidency twice. He is better prepared and surrounded by dedicated, life-long Fascists who have been planning for this their entire lives.

This is a dangerous and organized Fascist Regime and they are not going to be stopped by platitudes and wishful thinking. Trump is dumb but cunning. Mussolini was like that as well, and that is not coincidence. The Trump MAGA Fascist Regime is only going to be stopped by an organized and strong counter-operation. Hope is important but it must be tempered by realism.
