How many are old enough to remember

an old school newspaper box? My neighbor who lived here since the 1940's had one and asked me to remove it years ago. I saw the potential, and it has been the home of many Carolina Wren families. This year, a Carolina Chickadee family to be, beat them to it!

Blood Moon entry

@6:03 EST More difficult than anticipated, should have spent some time planning maybe. Making adjustments on the fly, such lighting contrast until it was very dark!

I have been preoccupied of late

In the middle of planning a driveway replacement to solve a flooding issue, we found out our entire septic system must be replaced. The existing is 45 years old, so we got our moneys worth. New codes require installing a mini-waste water treatment plant, with a Septic Aerator System that disperses reclaimed water quality into a sand bed filter system. I have been moving existing irrigation pipes in preparation for a major construction project.

Anyway, for Valentine's day we treated ourselves to a favorite Mexican restaurant near home, Plaza Tapatia, took a couple of pictures inside, which reminded me of another favorite Mexican restaurant near New Orleans, Habanero's - my namesake! I love the decor of both.
Plaza Tapatia, Tampa

Habanero's, New Orleans
