(THIS IS THE JEWISH GROUP)Vice President JD Vance, reflecting Thursday on his first year in office, said that he disagrees with fellow Republicans who have warned of a rise in antisemitism in their party.
“Judging anybody based on their skin color or immutable characteristics, I think, is fundamentally anti-American and anti-Christian,” Vance said in an interview with NBC News. “I do think it’s important to call this stuff out when I see it. I also, when I talk to young conservatives, I don’t see some simmering antisemitism that’s exploding.”
Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, has positioned himself as a potential Vance rival in the 2028 presidential race, raising his profile in part by condemning what he sees as an escalation of anti-Israel and anti-Jewish sentiment. Cruz has singled out young conservatives who pressed Vance with questions about Israel at a recent political event, while also criticizing Tucker Carlson, a Vance ally who hosted a Holocaust denier on his podcast.
“Do I think that the Republican Party is substantially more antisemitic than it was 10 or 15 years ago? Absolutely not,” Vance said. “In any bunch of apples, you have bad people. But my attitude on this is we should be firm in saying antisemitism and racism is wrong. ... I think it’s kind of slanderous to say that the Republican Party, the conservative movement, is extremely antisemitic.”

Muslim Brotherhood stole half a billion dollars from Gaza donations, Arab sources reveal
The Muslim Brotherhood allegedly stole half a billion dollars from donations for the Gaza Strip in a single campaign, Egyptian researcher Maher Farghali reported on Sunday.
While Farghali noted that it is typical of the Muslim Brotherhood to “exploit Gaza and Palestine for money,” the difference with this incident is that Hamas condemned the theft.
The association Waqf al-Ummah/Ummet Vakfı, founded by the Muslim Brotherhood, is said to have been responsible for taking half a billion, which it raised in a single fundraiser in the name of “Gaza.” Waqf al-Ummah has operated out of Turkey since 2013 and is overseen by religious figures.
Hamas learned of the corruption in January 2024 through one of its younger members, Khaled Mansour, who was investigating Waqf al-Ummah and the associated individuals. Over the last few days, Mansour (@mansourgaza) has been posting repeatedly about the situation, including detailing the figures stolen.

Dublin's Herzog Park set to be 'denamed' by city councillors over Israel connections
The name of a former president of Israel is set to be removed from a public park in Rathgar, south Dublin, on Monday, with Dublin city councillors expected to approve the change.
Herzog Park was named in 1995 in honour of Belfast-born Chaim Herzog, Israel’s president from 1983 to 1993, who spent his early childhood in Dublin when his father was chief rabbi of Ireland.

Chief Rabbi Wieder said Herzog Park was “more than a name on a sign. For those who live nearby, and especially for the neighbouring Jewish families and schools, it’s a place filled with memory, and an important reminder that our community has deep roots in Dublin”.
Naming the park in honour of Chaim Herzog was “a recognition not just of one man, but a chapter of shared Irish-Jewish history. That history has not changed, and it cannot be undone by motions or votes. The Jewish story in Ireland deserves to be preserved, not whitewashed or erased.”

Bjrk, Lorde and Paul Weller join 1,000 artists and labels to block Israelis from streaming their music
(THIS IS THE JEWISH GROUP)Over 1,000 labels and artists including Björk, Lorde and Paloma Faith have joined together to block Israelis from streaming their music as part of a global boycott campaign.
The No Music for Genocide campaign, which urges musicians to ask streaming platforms to geo-block residents of Israel from accessing their work, was set up in September.
British artists Massive Attack and Paul Weller have confirmed that they had signed up to the campaign.
The campaign, which allows artists to sign up on its website, aims to get music companies such as Sony, UMG and Warner to follow suit and to take their music off Israeli streaming services.

Holocaust museums 'false propaganda' used to blackmail world - American Muslims for Palestine head
Holocaust museums are “false propaganda,” and Israel has blackmailed the world with the Holocaust, said Osama Abu Irshaid, national director of American Muslims for Palestine, in a speech published to YouTube last week.
Irshaid, who also serves on the board of the nonprofit United States Council of Muslim Organizations, said, “Israel has blackmailed the world with the Holocaust” and that “if you call what is happening in Gaza a Holocaust, you are labeled antisemitic.”
He accused Jews of having “a monopoly on the victim mentality” and called for the formation of a new narrative called the “Palestinian genocide” narrative.
He went on to criticize Holocaust museums as a project of the “Zionist lobby.”

Revealed: Police quizzed wrongfully arrested Jewish mother over her faith
A wrongfully arrested mother was interrogated by police about her Jewish faith and involvement in a Holocaust Memorial Day event at her daughter’s school, the JC can reveal.
Citing a claim of “harassment” against her, an officer asked Rosalind Levine, 47, about emails she had sent her daughter’s school in which she offered to help arrange for Holocaust survivors to address pupils and requested the removal of her child from Christian prayer.
Levine and her partner, Maxie Allen, 50, received a payout from Hertfordshire Police earlier this month after the force admitted they had been wrong to send six officers to arrest the couple at their Borehamwood family home in January over complaints the pair had made about their daughter’s school.

There has always been a path to statehood, but the Palestinians don't want to negotiate and compromise.
Abbas's own words:
Occupied Jerusalem is the capital of the state of Palestine, and without it there will be no solution, and no one is authorized to sign [on an agreement regarding it]….Without eastern Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Palestine there will be no peace between us and Israel….Jerusalem is not Abu Dis [a town bordering eastern Jerusalem], but Abu Dis is part of Jerusalem….The capital [of the future state of Palestine will be] in Jerusalem and the [surrounding] area, the capital [will be] in Jerusalem that was conquered in 1967.
We are telling the world that the Palestinians will not surrender and these are not empty words when we say that we will never surrender. When we agree on a solution, the Palestinian land, the skies, and the borders will be under full Palestinian sovereignty. We will control the borders and will not give up any part of them, and no one will laugh at us.

It is our right not to recognize Israel as a Jewish state. We have many arguments and many reasons that prevent us from doing so and we presented them to Israel. Their problem with us is that we know many things about them, we know their history and geography, and what we know, we say. We will protect everything and we will not agree to the [definition of] state [of Israel] as Jewish. We want the 1967 borders.
The right of return is a personal option. No authority, [Palestinian] state, the PLO, Abu Mazen [Abbas], or [other Palestinian] leaders have the right to take away a person’s right of return. Let there be [various] options and let the refugee choose. There is compensation and other possibilities. Even a father, if he should request it, cannot wave the right of his children, since the matter is an individual right.
No compromise on Jerusalem.

For close to 80 years the Palestinian leadership has demanded concessions from Israel that are completely unreasonable, they want Israel gone, and all the violence like the first and second intifada, stabbing intifada, October 7th is a means to that end. Don't be fooled, they say what they mean.
