50,000 Miles Beneath My Brain (2002 Remaster)

Lyrics
I want to know you
I want to show you
I want to grow you
Inside of me
I want to see you
I want to free you
I want to be you
Inside of me
Love me 50, 000 miles beneath my brain
Love me 50, 000 times and then again
Can you love me with a thousand eyes?
Can you see right through my bones?
Can you kiss me with a thousand lips?
Can you melt a solid stone?
Can you hear me from a thousand miles
When you're screaming at the stars?
Can you pull me up to jupiter
When I'm all hung up on mars?
Burn my eyes with your flame
Let your world spin free
Let it go, baby
I'll do the same
All depends on me
Let it go
It's all the same
What with jewels that you can't see
Love me, love me, love me, love me, love me, babe
Bring it on home to me...

It is absolute disgrace that this band is not in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame...........

Ten Years After - Standing At The Station (2017 Remaster) (Official Audio)

Well, I'm standin' at the station
And the rain don't make a sound
Got a Bible in my pocket
Cause my plane was just shot down
My mind is all confusion
I believe I'm in a play
Throw my Bible out the window
As the train goes on its way

Gonna leave my blues behind me
Gonna find another town
Gonna try and find some people
Who this time won't bring me down
As I step out of the carriage
The station looks the same
As the one I left behind me
Though it has another name

No, no, no, no
Leaving this town
Yeah, yeah
Ow!

Again why are they not in the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame...........what a disgrace

Trump's 'grim reaper' gets tongue-lashing from WSJ editors for obstructing cancer research

By Matthew Chapman
Published April 14, 2026 9:01 PM ET

President Donald Trump's administration got another tongue-lashing by the conservative Wall Street Journal editorial board, as yet another Health and Human Services official moves to obstruct groundbreaking cancer research.

"Food and Drug Administration biologics chief Vinay Prasad is stepping down at the end of this month after torpedoing breakthrough rare disease treatments," wrote the board, referencing a controversial figure who has been responsible for shutting down a number of promising therapies. "The grim reaper can’t leave soon enough, but he’s not leaving without kicking patients with late-stage melanoma on his way out."

Specifically, the board wrote, he and FDA commissioner Marty Makary rejected an experimental melanoma immunotherapy for a second time — cutting off a potential treatment avenue for people suffering from a lethal form of skin cancer.

'What a waste': Pirro prosecutors stun with failed attempt to sneak into Federal Reserve

By Robert Davis
Published April 14, 2026 8:46 PM ET

Political analysts and observers were stunned on Tuesday after a new report indicated U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro's prosecutors were recently turned away from the Federal Reserve.

The Wall Street Journal reported, citing "a person familiar with the matter and a letter reviewed," that Pirro's prosecutors attempted to make a surprise visit to the construction site for the Federal Reserve’s headquarters renovation, but were turned away. Trump and Jerome Powell, the chairman of the central bank, have often sparred over the project. Trump has accused Powell of mismanaging the project and tried to remove Powell from his job over it. Powell has said Trump is misrepresenting the renovation's cost overrun.

"After speaking with construction workers, two of Pirro’s deputies were advised they couldn’t access the site without preclearance, and they were given the contact information for the Fed’s legal staff," the Wall Street Journal reported.

Supreme Court justice's dire 1952 warning has come true: legal scholar

By Daniel Hampton
Published April 14, 2026 8:12 PM ET

A Harvard-trained legal scholar sounded the alarm Tuesday that President Donald Trump has fulfilled a chilling Supreme Court prophecy from 1952 in which a justice warned that emergency powers, left unchecked, would "kindle emergencies."

Writing in Lawfare, Ben Diamond, a fellow at the Center for Applied Environmental Law and Policy, argued that Trump's second term has shattered historical norms around the use of emergency authority.

And Congress is powerless to stop it.

I wish the Mr. Diamond would have added that since Roberts and the 5 other maga minions on the bench gave this guy immunity, they have this on there hands and now the entire country and the world is paying for it.................end of story ...........

Red state elections chief accused of breaking state law to satisfy Trump

By Matthew Chapman
Published April 14, 2026 8:28 PM ET

Wyoming Secretary of State Chuck Gray has been hit with a misconduct complaint alleging that he violated state elections law to hand over voter data to the Trump administration's Justice Department.

According to the liberal election outlet Democracy Docket, "Wyoming is one of 17 states that have complied with DOJ’s demands for full, unredacted state voter rolls, which include addresses, driver’s license numbers, and social security numbers. Enter George Powers, who spent 40 years practicing law in the state. In a complaint to Attorney General Keith Kautz (R), he is alleging that Gray’s decision to hand that data over was illegal."

In a statement to the local paper Cowboy News Daily, Powers said, “When Secretary Gray released the unredacted [voter rolls] to DOJ, he willingly and knowingly released information that was confidential under Wyoming law. He released these confidential records in response to a mere request.”

Trump weighs major gift to for-profit insurance industry: Medicare privatization

By Jake Johnson, Common Dreams
Published April 10, 2026 3:53 PM ET

The Trump administration is considering enacting a policy that would automatically funnel seniors into for-profit Medicare Advantage plans—which critics say would set Medicare on the path to full-scale privatization.

Chris Klomp, the Trump administration’s director of Medicare and deputy administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), told STAT last month that enrolling seniors in Medicare Advantage (MA) plans by default “is something that we’re thinking through.” MA plans are funded by the federal government and run by private insurance companies such as UnitedHealthcare and Humana, both of which have been accused of improperly denying necessary care to patients and overcharging taxpayers.

The default enrollment scheme was floated in the far-right Project 2025 agenda that President Donald Trump has repeatedly tried to disavow. Currently, older Americans who have received Social Security benefits for at least four months before they turn 65 are automatically enrolled in traditional Medicare, and they can choose to enroll in an MA plan as an alternative.

Now happening..............they can try, but it will not happen.................right now over 26 million people have no health insurance and there is a current maga congress that just threw people off health coverage and if you think they will not do it with this BS................come out from under your rock............
