The arrogance of Senate Republicans is breathtaking
John Thune and his fellow Senate Republicans are headed to the White House today to meet with Donnie Rotten. The agenda isn't to discuss ways of getting the government reopened, but to express their fealty and solidarity with the chosen one.
As a matter of fact they have stated that they will not negotiate with the Democrats over anything! This my way or the highway attitude is at the heart of the dysfunction that is the hallmark of this administration and their accomplices in the Congress.
The American People need to vote as many of these clowns out of office as soon as possible. The alternative is higher prices for food, healthcare and just about anything else we consume along with more autocracy and chaos.
What is the EU waiting for?!?
Another night of mass Russian attacks on Ukraine along with numerous incursions into NATO airspace and another day of muted response from the EU. I won't say NATO because Donnie Rotten's love affair with tyrant Putin has removed the U.S. from the equation.
The EU has a GDP ten times the size of Russia, so if they wake up and get serious they could bankrupt the Russian war machine in no time.
Why is the EU not gearing up for all out war with Putin and his cronies? They can either fight them in Ukraine now or fight them in eastern Europe later, but any realist knows that Putin wants to restore the old Soviet Empire and the only way to stop him is to bring the fight to Russia.
Look to 1938-1939 for direction.

BTW; Judge Young is a Reagan appointee, so he's not a liberal by any stretch.

I told my wife that the biggest threat to the planet and the well being of humanity is the Republican Party of the United States of America. Their greed, avarice, ignorance, hatred, bigotry and inhumanity will take us all down if we do not take them down first.
We have one last shot at defeating them and bringing all of them to justice and that is the mid-term elections. We MUST do all that we can to ensure we have open, fair and valid elections in 2026.
I'm begging all of you to work your behinds off to make certain that our voices are fully heard next November.

Notice that with the exception of Baltimore, all of the cities listed above are in red states.
