Idk if I’m spelling his name right??? But really I don’t care.
I just wonder if his nomination is meant to fail? I feel like this serves several purposes.
1.) Loyalty test. Do something that is so outrageous to see who is truly loyal to you.
2.) If/When he fails to move forward… then trump will concede to put up someone more “moderate” like Aileen Cannon??? And then they’ll argue, “see he’s willing to be more reasonable”. When we attack her nomination, the narrative is Dems are just obstructionists.
I Want Pete Buttigieg to be the Next DNC Chair
Even if we had won. We have had and continue to have a messaging/perception problem for decades.
Our policies are popular. Republicans policies are unpopular. And with the state of the Republican Party we should have a veto proof majority. So why don’t we?
Two Reasons stand out to me:
1.)Most people don’t like us. We come across as weak, indecisive, pedantic, and smug.
2.) We are easy to divide. If we show too much love to one group another group feels left out. But when we make sure we speak to each group individually then we get labeled as the party of identity politics.
So we need to clean up our image and simplify our message. And Pete is the best communicator we have. Or it would be nice if maybe Obama came out of retirement to run the DNC? Or Eric Holder? I think he’d be effective like Howard Dean. But we also need to clear out the dinosaurs. How can we be the party of the future when we look so old. Kamala was a brilliant candidate, but she alone couldn’t carry the dead weight of the party. But she tapped into something with the message of Freedom and helped us reclaim the flag and patriotism.
The next 4 years are going to be hell. And I think we need to be more selective about how we attack Trump. Personally, I think people would like and benefit from some hard truths. When something terrible that he promised to do, I think we need to collectively all say, “He ran on this, the American people voted for him, we’re getting what the majority of people said they wanted. If you want something different you need to get your ass up, register to vote, and vote in every election. If we don’t vote, we’re getting what we deserve.”

Don’t start celebrating, but we also shouldn’t be bed wetting. The finish line is right there and I believe we’ve got the momentum. But we are at our best when we fight til the end. So stay focused, keep fighting.
I believe we will win, but I want a big win. I think we need a big win.
1.) To diminish any challenges that will surely come our way.
2.) to shove Maga into the shadows where they belong.
I’ve predicted every election of my lifetime. I’m not saying I’m a guru… I think it’s simple enough for anyone to figure out. It’s about energy/enthusiasm first. If that’s evenly matched it’s about organization, who’s got a better ground game? If that’s still evenly matched, the last question… who will stop at nothing to win?
Right now by my observation we don’t even have to go to question 2. We have the enthusiasm and people are exhausted with Trump. Our biggest disadvantage is the historic nature of our candidate. She won’t be the first one, she will be the first ones. First woman, Black woman, Indian woman. We’ve seen barriers broken with one at a time, but never several. I think the Trump fatigue will allow for this trifecta to win.
We also are better organized and have more money. The only time in my life question 3 has mattered was Bush v Gore.
Anyway, I’m excited about Tuesday and I think if we stay focused tomorrow and Tuesday we could be celebrating and dancing in the streets Wednesday.
The "Fucking Mexican" Comment Shouldn't be Overshadowed
To me this is as disgusting and potentially more damaging to Donald. It’s racism targeted at a demographic we need to win back and it’s once again disrespectful of the military. And it’s also sick to promise to pay for anyone’s funeral and then refuse to pay when you get the bill.
The John Kelly Hitler stuff may land, but a number of people won’t take it seriously. They’ll believe Kelly, but think the threat of dictatorship is just fear mongering.
The funeral piece and the revelation about not wanting to retrieve bodies of lost soldiers bc they “failed” has more damage potential and shouldn’t be swept off to the side.
Trumpers Aren't Conservative: They're White Supremacists
Hey Liz,
They don’t actually give a fuck about the constitution. They don’t care about Government spending. They don’t care about Democracy. I know many Trumpers who are actually for social welfare programs.
What most of them care about that they know they can’t say… This is cultural. They want white people in charge, white-washed history taught in schools, social programs for white people only. They want people of color to have less than them, but to also be grateful that they get to live in America. This is a power grab.
For some others, minority Trumpers, this is also cultural. They are anti gay and especially anti trans.
Our best hope is to widen our lead with undecideds. We have to find them, get in front of them, and tell them something they want to hear. And that’s why, it’s still the economy stupid.
We are gaining ground on the economy, but I think we could do better. We need to make everything about the Economy. Trump wants to deport Immigrants, that’ll the hurt the Economy. Trump wants to pull out of Ukraine, that’s bad for the Economy.

Can I Start a Conspiracy Theory?
I reject pretty much all conspiracy theories. Although, I am open to Aliens. However, in general I think they should be called conspiracy fantasies as they aren’t based in science or reason. But I’ve long thought the best way to take down MAGA would be to start wild conspiracy theories of our own drop them in MAGA world and watch them “explode”.
Here’s my make believe theory. JD Vance has been working with the Harris campaign and the FBI to bring down Trump. They set this debate up and purposely made the last question about January 6th. They set it up to be a big moment that everyone would be talking about the next day and coordinated with Jack Smith to release this testimony. The reason we should start this is so not only do we metaphorically take out Trump, but we also ruin Vance with MAGA. How does this sound?

I watched Alex on MSNBC interview some young male undecideds and I was so disappointed.
And I’m sorry, not really, but it really says a lot about straight male privilege to be so disengaged.
A few of them said, “idk, I’m gonna havta do my own research.” Just don’t. This isn’t a “need to hear more” election.
I could imagine an Independent voter watching a debate between Obama and Romney and saying, I’d like to do some reading about the things they had to say.
But for fuck sakes this is an open book test.
Peoples freedoms hang in the balance, peace in Europe and you’re like, “idk, I think trump was better on the economy… why? Because he said he was…”

More Harris, Less Trump
There is a chunk of voters that are just now tuning in. Some are undecided about Trump or Harris. Some are stuck between Harris and not voting.
When all we talk about and post about on here, Instagram, and Facebook, is Trump, we are helping Trump by ignoring Harris.
These undecideds are open to her, but we have to be as obsessed about her winning as we are about him losing.
You’d think saving democracy and the threats against immigrants would be enough, but I guess not. So we have to get in their face with Harris, Harris, Harris.
